Hey, Sweets!

It’s time for my July monthly wrap-up! I will say that I’m disappointed in myself with a number of books I read this month. I may or may not have entered a little book slump, but I’m recovering from it. I just want to get back to my lovely books but with that being said, let’s talk about the beautiful books I read this July 🙂

July 2016 Wrap-Up. ACTIVATE!

Lick (Stage Dive, #1) by Kylie Scott: THIS. THIS right here is what you call a rockstar love! This story from the beginning will captivate you and have you needing more. I fell in love with all the characters especially the main ones, Ev and David. If I could marry David right now, I would jump at that opportunity in a heart beat. David is the rockstar that your mother warns you about but later on regrets it because he ends up treating you better than anyone expected him to. Of course, this read will come with its problems that the couple will have to deal with, but I fell so much more in love with David with how he tried to fix everything. HIGHLY recommended.

Play (Stage Dive, #2) by Kylie Scott: This story is the second book in the Stage Dive series and it’s Mal’s story. You know how I said I loved David? I love Mal equally. This read had me peeing myself laughing and enjoying each page my fingers touched. ‘Lick’ was more of a serious read but ‘Play’ is more of the read that you can take more light-heartedly because well, it’s Mal. I love love loved Mal in ‘Lick’ so I couldn’t wait to read his story and I’m SO glad I did! We get to see all sides of Mal in this read that we never got to see in the first book in Stage Dive!!

Anything But Minor by Kate Stewart: I’ve never read a baseball love story, but this had me hooked! I’m a total nerd for sports and rockstar romance lately, and I have no shame in it! If I could count a number of times my cheek hurt from smiling so hard, laughing, and wanted to turn bisexual so I could have both Alice & Rafe, I would be a millionaire. This book was the book that started to ease me out of my book slump and I want to say thank you, Kate Stewart *kisses*

Edge of Glory (Friendship, Texas, #1) but Magan Vernon: It wasn’t my cup of tea. Simple as that. That’s the nicest way I can put it.

Broken Price (The Royals, #2) by Erin Watt: You see those gifs up there? Those were my exact reactions. Do you want to be mind fucked beyond belief? Do you want to be crazily addicted to a series/book then stop reading right now… Like right now and order this damn book. I’m still in shocked and still don’t even know how to comprehend what the hell I read. I.NEED.ANSWERS.

  1. Ooh, I love rock star and sports romances too! I don’t know why, I just find myself liking them so much more than regular romances. I’ve seen reviews for Edge of Glory before and they haven’t liked the book either.
